IWE solenoid
Thanks to all who post here! I was able to change this $30 part myself. I hope this does the trick. I do have a question though. How much leakage is allowed in the vacuum hose system for the IWE? After I changed the solenoid. I checked the hoses with a vacuum pump. The upper connection stayed right at 5 inches after one pump. The lower connection went to 10 inches after one pump and dropped fast. I wiggled all of the connections that I could reach and retested. The lower connection now drops from 10 inches to zero in about 45 seconds. I'm not sure if this is normal or if I have a leak in a hose.
