Will this idea work???
I have a 00 f150 xlt 4.6 reg cab styleside... I would like to install a lightning exhaust.. I love the look of them, but would outfit it with the proper magnaflow muffler for that truck... I know a custom idea would prob be better but I live in a VERY REMOTE area, and that's not an option to have Jim-bo cob it up... Has anyone done this?? Since its pretty much the same body will it all work?? I'm really looking to do just a cat back, but wanted to see if my ideas will all work out...

thanks for the replies so far... I just got the truck its a 2000 with 24,000 miles on it.... Was a weekend driver for him just to "fit in" since our town has all pick ups and he had a bmw... So Im trying to do a nice job, but still mod it a bit...

cat back would work one way or another, once you get to the manifolds the 5.4L's are a wider engine so you would have issues if for some reason you wanted to use the stock lightning manifolds and go in to the stock Lightning Y.
