us 703 meter and eec-iv cable
i bought the autel us 703 meter for my newer cars and it said it does obd1 with proper adapter ,however it does not tell me how and where to get the adapter.i emailed the company several times but have recieved nothing.i tried the one that fits cp brand but it does not work with autel.so does anybody have anything that works with autel?

Have you contacted the MFG, Autel.us - OBD / OBDII Code Reader, diagnostic scanners for automotive, auto scanner, tpms, epb tools

I was reading on another forum about someone with the same Autel scan tool. Supposedly some rep from the company posted on the forum that Autel only works with dealers and that, in order to get support on the product, you need to go to the place of business you purchased the device from. Doesn't make sense since those dealers won't be able to address most tech support questions. I've also read several other posts that suggested no one has had an inquiry to the manufacturer returned. I didn't read of anyone who was contacted by Autel. That's unfortunate because they have some very intriguing products. Many will be hesitant to purchase though if they cannot get support for them.

yes,i have emailed them several times with no responce,i seen where someone else has tried emailing also with no responce.i believe we are on our own with this.i can tell you which one doesnt work.(actron)fits but must have different pin outs , but i would like to know what does work with it.just thought someone had one and had an adapter.i guess ill just buy a seperate one for the obd1.shame to have a piece of equipment that supposed to do it and doesnt.thanks

I have been using this unit Equus Products, INC. for the past 18months. works on my families 92,94, 95 and 96 as well as my 97 Ford Explorers.
I have also been successful with a 94 caravan, and 96,98 Chevy vans. Several Honda's and Suzuki.
