no everyones wrong.. the 78/79 bronco's and 73-79 supercabs use a diferant floor pan then the 73-79 regular cabs. the supercab's use there own seat brakets and they shared them with the bronco's in 78-79.. they are a very diferant floor, realy your gonna need to make brakets. i found out becouse i also tried taking the seats from my 79 bronco and puting them in my 79 pickup. when they didnt fit i researched it and found the diferances.. thanks

Guess what the split bench seat and seat tracks (D4TZ1061704A-Right/D4TZ1061705A-Left) were also used in? Did you say 1974/79 F100/350 Super Cabs?

That's correctamundo...
Thank you!

I've been wanting to swap my bronc to the split bench, but can't find a donor bronco with one, maybe i can find a super cab with one..

No Bill sure didn't know that.

That's correctamundo...and if the 1974/79 F100/350 Super Cab split bench and seat tracks fit the Bronco's floor pan, what's causing the problem you are having?

My guess is, you bought the wrong year Bronco seats.

In post #1 you said you bought a "crapy set" to use the seat tracks, but how do you know...for sure...that they were from a 1978/79 Bronco?
Well, I really don't know for sure. Bought them off ebay but the picture showed them sitting in a 78 Bronco. Even showed the back seat with the same fabric pattern but at this point anything is possible.

One of the first few replys the guy attached a link to someone who did the very same thing with a picture showing the seat in the tilted position. It shows it bolted to the floor and looks identicle to the one I purchased.

1980/96 Bronco's are not the same as 1978/79 Bronco's. The floor pan is shaped differently...the entire body is different, the seat tracks are different.
Thank you Bill
