Thanks for the response. The truck was used so on one hand I don't expect it to be exactly like new...
But on the other hand it is certified pre-owned and they gave me a printout of all the options it is supposed to have... one of which is the mirrors you have.
I'm not sure if I have a case to go down to the dealer and ask for the tow mirrors since it was technically advertised as having them, but I test drove it and purchased it knowing it did not have them on the truck.
Off-topic... your truck is exactly like mine lol, even the color and options
I don't understand why they don't use the power telescope/power fold tow mirrors like the Super Duty's. I had the BAM's on my F150 and hated having to fold them in manually to get in the garage. On the other hand, my SD doesn't fit in the garage...lol But the mirrors are power.
On my last F150, I took the stock mirrors off and put the towing mirrors on (bought them from a guy on Craigslist for $150 for the pair). Best thing I ever did for that truck.
I have to say I don't like the 'tow mirrors'. I am sure they offer great visibility but I find them too bid for the F150. Finding a truck I like with the 'tow mirrors' would definately lead to requesting the dealer to replace them by the regular mirrors...
I have a 2004 FX4 and I have no issues adding the towing mirrors manually when I tow... Now... don't go crazy... I tow the fifth wheel 5-10 times a year... If I was towing every day... would likely go with the Towing Mirrors... but... since I don't... the smaller mirrors are a better fit for my needs.
