Transmission help / question
I tried doing a search but I must not be writing the question correctly since I can't find a match.
When my truck is cold and I initially take off the shift from 1st to 2nd and sometimes 2nd to 3rd is elongated. Like it doesn't want to shift but then does. Once that happens it shifts completely normal every time. This doesn't happen every time it's cold but about 6 out of 8 times. By cold I mean sitting over night. If I drive it for 30 minutes and then let it sit 4-5 hours and drive it again there are no problems. Only after sitting over night.
Although this is not really causing any problems, I am worried about pending problems so wanted to know if anyone else had the problem and if it developed into something.
2005 Excursion 4WD 6.0L diesel.
