we sell the reflex shocks where i work , the only thing thats keeping me from getting 6 of them is the fact that they don't use poly bushings, i think with poly bushings top and bottom these shocks would respond even better then they already do.
i put on my new monroe reflex shocks today. only put the two on front. what a difference! i have a more solid feel going down the road. feels like the wheels aren't so bouncy like before. the biggest difference i noticed is in cornering. before the truck would lean quite a ways over. now it stays nearly level. i haven't taken them off road yet, but when i do i will report on how they perform.
i'd say it was a good choice of shock. when i get the money i'll put new ones on back.
the shocks i replaced were old monroes. i don't know what type though. if it helps, they were gray and rode kind of mushy.
