Creaking/grinding while turning left only?

I have a creaking / grinding noise while I turn my truck to the left. I haven't put much time in finding it yet but I was hoping someone has dealt with this before.

It only makes the noise while turning from straight to left, and when you are turning the wheel to the right from hard left to straight. Turning it to the right all the way to hard right makes no noise.

As far as I can tell it IS coming from the left side wheel area but that includes all major steering components and doesn't help much.

Tie rod, Ball joint maybe. Try to isolate noise to identify.

Sounds like the wheel bearing assembly.

if its grinding going down the road than take the load off each side by swerving if noise goes away on one side you have your answer

Could be needle bearings are bad and/or your 4x4 is still engaged on one side. Had the same noise…it wasn’t good. The needle bearings tore up the half shaft and made the wheel bearing assembly very difficult to remove. You just need to get in there and look around…soon.
