01 7.3 skipping

when i get in a pull up hill it seem to skip, change feul filter, air filter but that didnt help just does it when pulling a hill anyone have any idea new to 7.3s thanks

We need a little more info as to what you call a skip. Do any dash lights come on or flash? Does the motor run rough or seem to cut out for a fraction of a second? How often does it repeat itself? Does it just seem to be low on power and fall on it's face? Can you feel the skip like it's a backfire? Do the gauges fall to off for a split second? Does it only happen when going up hill? Empty or loaded? If you stomp the pedal to the floor on flat ground, do you get the same results?
