I don't mean to burn you guys, I just don't really like the whole dash-carpet thing. The OEM dash pad's good enough for me. But to each his/her own, right?
I should be able to post pics tomorrow sometime. When I do, I'm hoping some of you more learned guys (fordzilla80?) will let me know what's going on with the front-left. There's some crazy positive camber so that the tire wears really fast on the inside. Does it just need an alignment? I've heard aligning these trucks is pretty involved. That true?
Normally,I don't like them either. The only reason i'm putting one on the F100 is to protect my original dash pad from the sun.
These trucks can be a bear to align.I think it's due to the fact that alot of alignment shops aren't exactly sure how or equipped to align the IFS front. On the 81-96 IFS setups,a special camber adjuster is used to adjust the camber. If I were you,i'd check for bent/worn parts first.Look at all the front components that might cause the camber to be off like it is.If it's crazy camber, then I wouldn't be surprised if something is bent or broken.
