Someone mentioned in my first post about my newly aquired 49 f1 that it only had one wiper. I was out of town and just got back it does in fact have a passenger side wiper spindle.
Cool, you're one of the lucky ones. Most of the trucks just had a drivers side wiper.
You should be able to get the correct wiper arms from any of the vendors. If you haven't done it yet you should order yourself up some catalogs from whoever will send you a free one. They are a great source of info and have lots of diagrams and pics.

If your lucky and have the correct wiper motor, you can mount an original Radio in the Dash.
A lot of these 48-50 pickups with the Dual Wipers have the 51-52 Wiper Motor the mounts in the center of the Dash, so the original Radio cannot be installed.
I lucked out on mine and found an old 1949 Bell Telerphone Truck sitting in the Wreckers, that had the original 2 Wiper system. It took a little effort to get it out but I did. I also had an original Radio to install in the Dash so all worked out well.
Here is a pic of the Merc Truck that I installed it on. Don't have the Truck anymore, just pics of it, anyway just thought I would show it once again.
