''Extra jolt''? If you want that ''extra jolt'' then you can put a shift kit in your C-6 to keep it from slipping between shifts. I did with mine and it gives me that ''extra jolt'' when it shifts.
Well my C6 has a Kickdown Lever on it, not sure about the vacuum modulator, don't remember hooking a vacuum hose up to anything coming off of the transmission...I currently have a 9" oval air cleaner (exposed, not in the OEM setup), what would be the advantage of the Ram Air? Would I be better suited to go up to a 14" Oval Air Cleaner?
this is your first problem. ALL C6s used a vacuum modulator, so you need to get that hooked up. you will find it on the passengers side of the trans on the back right above the pan rail. Hook it to manifold vacuum. This is what helps set the line pressure. Without it being hook up the pressure is always maxed out putting max pressure on your pump making it work harder then neccesary and drawing more HP then it needs to. Probably won't make enough difference to make you happy with the power but still needs corrected.
