Hey everyone!


I was browsing for a Ford truck forum while at work today (whoops!) and stumbled across this little guy. After reading a few posts, looking at a few pictures of your vehicles, I figured I had best sign up when I get home! I looked all over the forums for a new member area to say "Hi" but I never found one, so I figured I would start here, because my truck is a 2008 F150 5.4L.

Little background on the ole girl. She has a salvage title (uh oh!), but before you panic, it was flooded out here in Iowa. Now, the vehicle wasn't running while it was under water, transmission has already been replaced, and motor drained by my best friend, who is also a certified mechanic. Are we relaxed now? Anyways, it's a super crew that's pearl white. Only real new things about it are the King Ranch interior that he put in it for me along with a Truexedo locking bed cover. It's also got some new rubber around the tires and the chrome package lariat grill. I've been debating and debating what I want to do next, most likely exhaust, bed liner, bed rails, or something of the sort. But after viewing these pictures here, I got a little idea that kicked me in the butt. What about black rims, black door handles (stock ones), blacked out head lights and tail lights, with a black grill. Sounds interesting and expensive, but we'll see!

I too am new to this forum. Its has been great so far I have posted a couple of intrests I am looking to do to my truck and everyone has been very helpful so far. I am just wondering how you put a pic up next to your name. I think I did put an album up of my truck. I need to take some new pics of my truck with the new tires.

 

you have to post 25 or 50 times and then it unlocks that option.

Its is pretty easy once you have done 25 post which you have now. Just go to your User CP and look under avatar and then upload a photo from your computer. Its not like when you are posting a picture of your truck you don't have t use photobucket or a similar site for these.

 

I will have to try it. I need to get some new pics though.

You want to know how to post a thread? What you do is look at the forum and off to the top left side you will see add a new thread or something similar. click on that and then you can write a new thread.
