88 f150 speaker problems

88 f150 speaker problems
88 f150 302 5-speed 4x4
Im having trouble with my speakers. the driver side is the only one that works. It only works when it wants to. when you turn it up too loud it always quits and sometimes it quits for an unknown reason. it has factory speakers and factory tape player. any help would be appreciated.

hard to say for sure, it could be the Speakers themselves, the wires could be loose, or the tape deck could be having issues, just have to remove varibles as you go along.
do you have any known good speakers kicking around? seeings how that is easiest

Speakers are probably bad. If you listen to music loud and with alot of bass on these little speakers the wires inside of the speakers come loose and there is nothing you could do about that.
