CCW while driving?

CCW while driving?
... anyone have a good solution where to keep their firearm secure and within reach while driving? Not very comfortable driving with a IWB holster.
When i say secure i dont' mean locked up, rather in a holster that i can secure somewhere.

I carry my peacemaker in my waistband without a holster with no issues(will use holster when I can find a good IWB rig). I keep a paddle holster in my truck for driving, which fits nice and tight between my drivers seat and the middle seat/console within easy reach. I dont worry about people seeing it because my truck is lifted and only truckers will see inside which they probly could care less. When I stop somewhere I simply tuck my 1911 in my waistband...
