cant get fire

cant get fire
I just got a 1984 f-250 that's been sitting for about 7 years. With a little priming it fired right up and idled for about ten minutes then died and I'm not getting any fire. I replaced the coil and lead wire. I've got power to the coil, but I'm only occasionally getting any fire from the coil to the distributor. Im no expert and I'm stumped. Can't figure why it just suddenly quit getting fire but every now and then it does. Il take any help I can get. From what iv read im pretty sure its got the durasparkII ignition system.
