I bought my Ex in January of this year because my F250 CC won't be big enough to haul me, the wife (to be) and 3 dogs and gear across the country to visit family on the east coast. I'm 40.

Bought mine in April this year, and am loving it so far. Biggest vehicle I have ever owned (with possible exception being the interior of my '66 Dodge Coronet 500 in high school).

Have been hauling my wife and two kids around and just completed a trip to Laughlin, NV in 115 degree heat. It performed flawlessly--temp Needle never moved!

I am 39.

Owning the Ex has taught me that I'm a truck guy. As soon as I can afford to build a 6 door CrewCab pickup, I will... but that may be a while.

I have some great memories of a particular '66 Dodge Coronet 500.

Always said that in case of nuclear war, I wanted one parked out back that I could crawl under.

My Ex been in my family since 04. I bought it off my sister in jan 2011. Ive always loved the Excursion since I 1st laid eyes on them. Mine has been good to me Ive only put 5,000 miles on it since Ive owned it but spent like 22,000 on it Mostly elctronics and mods. I plan on keeping it as long as I live. Im 32 and Im thinking of looking for another v-10 but 4wd. So Ill have 2.

I'm 19 now but bought mine when I was 17. It was about 4 months before my 18th birthday! A lot of people would say I was driving my parents truck or that they bought it but it was purchased by me and only me lol

Same here I worked 70-75 hrs a week to pay for it and I got told that it must be nice that mommy and daddy could buy me a truck but when my dads friends said that he was quick to tell them he had no part in that and said he's jealous because I got that and he's driving a tahoe lol

I thought of you after I wrote that. Didn't you post something on another thread about your old Coronet?? Also, aren't you real tall....like 6'7" or so??

Great car, just didn't want to restore it. Crazy to think I drove it for six years with NO seat belts! what was I thinking? Oh....to be young again.

Of course, now with an Excursion that's all a distant memory!!

Karl.
