Does anyone know where I can find a 4 gauge A pillar pod mount that has all the gauges ready to go as a package? What I want to have is trans temp, boost, EGT, and then leave the other gauge out for my future DP Tuner switch. I've poked around a few of the diesel sites but have only found a 3 gauge pod package.
I keep hearing the 4 pod pillar mount gets in the way of the visor. What does it prevent the visor from doing? A picture would help me decide if n e of you have one. Thanks
I got the 4 pod Pillar and guages through Clay. I also did the 3 guages and spot of DP Tuner switch. He is a great guy to workk with and will bend over backwards to help you out. Give him a call and he can make it happen.
The 4 pod pillar doesnn't allow you to put your visor all the way forward. The "thin" part of the visor hits the top pod. You can fold the visor and get it past but it will leave a permanent crease.
Just want to toss this into the pot as well: Sinister Diesel offers a 3 gauge kit with a 4th hole open for the DP Tuner. Not a bad deal. I ordered my MBRP exhaust kit through them for my last truck (back when it was still ITP Diesel) and they were great. I don't know why I didn't look here first.
an alternate opinion, put a real voltmeter in slot 4 and hang the dp switch on an offset plate that they have. I did just this and it showed me when my alternator gave up the ghost before I fried the batteries. Damn glad I had the voltmeter when no dash warning lights or starting problems, but could see it not running the voltage it should be.
You can also go with a 3 guage pillar and two guage dash pod, thats what I run. Clay hooked me up. I have 5 aftermarket guages total and 2 more in the works There are pics in my garage.
Hey where's my garage???

I'll be doing a pod over the rearview mirror at some point too that will inlcude a voltmeter, a water temp gauge, and maybe another gauge as well.
