Power Trip

finally got a chance to take a quick trip with my truck, 850 miles,2 days and alot of fun. my wife and my 72 year old dad took off on Fri morning and headed N. to tower Mn to see and tour the soudan mine. then off to grand marais Mn on sat to spend some time at lake superior and back home that night 2:00 am. all state highways with a 55-60 mph limit. anyone thats on the fence to buy one of these trucks I'm here to tell ya they ROCK.... great mileage,comfy interior,smooth ride and did I mention GREAT MILEAGE ! my lie o meter is surprisingly accurate as I have hand calculated milage several times.it was alot of truck time so I got to have some quality time reminiscing with my father about old times .
about 100 miles into the trip

Nice pics, but what about some picks of the rest of your truck? Do you have a 4X4 or 2WD? Ive got the FX4 and the best I got was 17.9MPG 2 months ago on a 900mile + road trip

XLT,5.4,3.55 ratio,4X4. conditions where ideal,few hills and almost no wind.

I found out that my FX2 with the same setup will also get 21-22 cruising at 65. Drops to 19-20 at 75.

I just got back tonight from a 1,000 mile U.P. Michigan road trip. Traveling about 60mph for most of the trip, with some 75mph on the freeway, I hit 20.4MPG. Thats the most I think Ive got out of either of my F150s that Ive owned.
