Still Sputtering???
2001 Ex..4x4 Limited 7.3 diesel. It started with what was thought to be a cam shaft sensor..replaced..then a fuel injector module..replaced..then the wire harness on the valve cover gaskets was cracked.replaced. So all was good for about 300 miles, now it started again. Under aceleration it sputtered but no lights came on.(water in fuel???)..Then last night it actually felt liked it died..service engine light.water in fuel light..wait to start light, when I let off the gas it kept running all the lights went out and I drove it 20 more miles home and never did it again??? The Excursion is our mini van and always has my family in it. Any ideas before it goes back to the dealer for a third and maybee last time.????
