I have a 96 F350 Crewcab dually. 7.3 powerstroke. Did block heaters come standard on the powerstrokes? If so, where would I find the plug???

block heaters

If I remember correctly, it should be behind the bumper/grill more to the drivers side. It may be best to follow it from the actual block heater, located by the oil filter. I know the block heaters are a standard item in my area here in Canada.

I do believe all the diesels come with the block heater. The factory certainly has a nack of hiding the electrical cords. Try behind the bumper or lower part of the grille. they can be found easier by looking for the block heater unit and follow the wire from there. It will be the only 110 volt type of wiring in the engine compartment.

i tried for 2 weeks to find the plug on my 02 f-250...i finally decided it did not have a block heater. the next day a friend of mine walked up to the truck reached inside the bumper by the right tow hook and pulled it out.....I LOOKED THERE! and more than once.
