Sorry, no real before pics, but sounds like the same areas as mine. I had rockers pieces replaced and the rear corner fabbed and welded in. Then they blended in the paint and I am really **** about my truck and I was very pleased with the results. Hope this helps.
Did you have rust at the bottom of your doors and if so what did they do about that?
There's a page linked in the tech folder, second post all the way down, almost to the bottom where the FTE member pages are listed, titled "1975stroppebaja's Page"
Click that link and you'll find how he did his maglight mount.

The first thing to do is to reseal the bottom of the door from the inside. Over time the factory sealer dries and lets water through it. Eventually it will push the lip out (folded edge of the door skin). On my truck it started to rust where the door skin is folded. I sealed the inside then removed the rust and as an experiment I coated it with "Rust Bullet Clear". It's been through one Michigan winter and it appears to be stable. The Detroit area and surrounding suburbs are built on top of salt mines...and the municipalities are not shy with the salt!

Picked up an 18" spare rim with tire and an extra 17" tire for $20 off CL. Tires are throwaway. Steel wheel is good. It was a buy it all or nothing deal.
I just used the hardware that came in the package and screwed them into the plastic. IF they come out loose in the future, I'll think about reinforcing it with a back plate and use nuts & bolts.
i got most of my driver side rocker done and painted from outside gotta do some touch ups front underneath/behind rockers and got my oem 16 inch rims painted black plastidip since the factory chrome was being corroded away by salt and to top it off painted my front and rear stock bumpers black dip to will get some pictures tomorrow
Tylus will be the first (ok, maybe second now, ) to say he's far from the originator for that mod.
I dunno how old you are (not a knock, just proving I'm old, LOL) but this is a mod that has been done for decades.

Hey, he taught me this mod. So it was first for me And yeah...these bones will turn 47 in Oct FWIW, this is the first 4 wheel vehicle that I have had the true motivation to personalize. So, it will be a work in progress for the next few months, years to come
