Tech folder my friend. A link in there how to service them using ATF.

I was debating painting it olive drab, and black of course. But kinda like the weathered look. I'm kinda torn, not too sure what to do really.

I have a question, guys, because I changed the transfluid last year. If I want to upgrade the pan or the valvebody now can I reuse the almost new red sauce or should I buy the whole 20qts new?
Not sure......
Any help appreciated.

Hallo, schon tag.
If the fluid was flushed last year, then I would just replace the 8qts you will drain when replacing the pan and valve body. I believe it's 8qts, someone will correct me if I'm wrong. By replacing just the 8qts you've done your trans service for the year and you have a new trans pan. No need to do all 20qts.
Sehr einfach.
Tschüss

A little side-tracking, but why do you want to swap in a different pan?

Had it towed home cause she wouldn't start up in Park...Lo and behold put it in Neutral and starts right up . Looks like some loc-tite and tighten up some bolts under the dash and I will be good to go . Though feeling like a moron still hasn't passed.

Presuming you are talking about the larger capacity tranny pan from the 6.4L, we could help you out with that for likely less than you are being quoted.
