OK so now I'm TDY away from my baby...I think its time to buy all the parts so I can repair it when I finally get home....

Now my Fuel Door wont stay shut. I get under the truck and it seems that the door is unhooked from the wire. Is it possible to 'fix' the problem with some gorilla glue or would it be beneficial to buy a whole new housing for the door ??

This happened to my truck last year. I had to replace the fuel door housing. The cost was $85.00 for the part and $41.82 for labor at the dealership.

 

Holly mother....I found the part online for $20 shipped...and $42 for 6 bolts and 3 clips?? Wow...sorry that happened to you...

At the time, I was busy and did not have a chance to mess with it, so I just said to hell with it and had the dealership fix it. Hope it is easy for you to swap out and thanks for the offer!
