Edge Programmer help??
Hello all,
Okay so I got the Edge Platinum with Attitude, so far I like it alot I have read about 100 threads as far as what to do to save the head studs as long as I can by not pushing to much boost. So here is my question, I have the boost alert set to 30 PSI to defuel if it hits 30, but what are safe max temps I would need to set for:
EGT
TRANS
Engine Temp
Oil Temp
Coolant temp.
And by max I mean the motor defuels to stock to protect from any damage. So the highest I could go before I should start to worry.
Which leads me to my next question, what is the temps you are all seeing for EGT, I am at about 2500ft, averages about 100 degrees during the day, and at about 65-70 I am running at about 920-950 degrees on the EGT at cruise. Is this normal???? Cause if I stab the gas to pass it jumps to about 1050-1100 then right back down to 900-950 depending on speed. Then engine temp is hovering around 185-200 again depending on outside temp. Any help would be great, I still super new to the diesel life.
