i was born right handed, right eyed, right footed, and wrong brained... :P but after workin with my father in our machine shop ( he's taught me all i know) i've learned to work with either hand (he's a lefty) i can cut, weld, grind, hammer, drill, etc... with either hand... i'm sure if i wanted to i could pass my weld test with either hand... mind you i'm better right handed with a hammer( i've got scares to prove it) but i can do what ever i have to.. works great with one lefty, and a righty, some jobs are more suited to one or the other.
i use left hand for most stuff but not all. i cant write worth a damn with my right hand but do a lot of stuff with my right. some things i can do with both. i wear my watch on my left and thread my belt through the left side of my pants. but some other stuff i always do with my right and couldnt imagine doin with my left. suprising how many of us arent all left or all right handed but both.
For me it is situation dependent! Welding, you decide since I can weld any process with either hand equally! Writing im a righty. Golf. Right. Baseball. Right or left. Basketball, either. Hockey stick, left. 12 gauge, either! Stink finger, defenite lefty, right hand finger tips on pointy and middle will make my nose bleed due to nerve ending injury on those two, so I do not take a chance there! Just depends on the situation "at hand" and just learn to deal!!
I write & eat lefty, bat lefty, throw righty, cut righty, punch well, i can throw a good punch with either hand so look out! LOL..I am all over the darn place....so does that make me an AMBI??
Sean your stink finger post was too much....

A little clarification on my part here! As a man being a man, what I meant by that reference was when my right hand is searching my own person, it will do more said damage than the left will. Meaning when I do some scratching, belly button lint search or any other part of my body that needs attention, its is my left that does it. My right hand pointy and middle finger I absolutely have NO NERVE SENSATION whatsoever in them! Take your right index, stick it straight into the belly botton, ear, or wherever, and imagine the only feeling being where your finger touches, not within the finger itself. So on and so forth for those two fingers. Kinda sucks, but I have to live with that little detail. After all, it was my own doing.
Writing: Left
Throwing: Right
Batting: Right
Hammering: Left
Golf: Right (can putt either way)
Tenmis: Left
Kicking: Right
Shooting: Left
Archery: Right (tough to do when you're left eye dominant)
Sawing: Either
Loosing/tightening nuts, bolts, etc: Either
Scissors: Left
Fine tedious work: Left
Coarse work: Right
I hold my pencil upside down and up the page, just like a right-handed person.
** I proud to say that I'm a third-generation left hander and my oldest son has inherited the gene making a fourth. Weird stuff...
I used to go into the bars and start throwing darts by myself left-handed. I was pretty darned good. When somebody eventually came over to challenge me, I'd continue to play lefty for a couple games until the talk turned to money. Then I'd switch to my natural right-handed style (took home second place in a state tourney one year) and take home some cash.
i'm a lefty. i shoot basketball left handed, can shoot guns with either hand, write left, throw left, bat left, and play guitar right handed. my grandpa is ambidextrous. so maybe thats why i can shoot with both hands
Shoot firearms left handed
Shoot bow left handed
Write and draw left handed
Snips and scissors left handed
Fight left handed-power punch
Swing right handed-bat or golf club
