Another Trans Question
I spoke to another guy locally that had a 4 speed out of a 82 f150 with a windsor. he said he was unaware of what trans it is. it has reverse that push down and pull toward you and up(to the left of 1st gear position). shifter is on top. what 4 speed is this.

Could be the OD trans. Did he ever drive with that trans? If 1-2-3 is like an old 3 speed, and 4th is OD, that's the OD. If first is really low, and you drive 2-3-4 like a 3 speed, that is an NP435 or T18.
