I know this isnt the place to be selling parts but i have a DMF that I hve no use for. I pulled it out of my truck after a crash. Was driven home so no problems with it and a clutch job was done 200 miles before the accident. Its perfectly sooth and therefore wasnt resurfaced. Im in New Jersey so if your nearby and want it let me know. Make an offer
I'm almost positive you're not going to find any information about this other than a big fat NO.
BUT... if you want to play around, it can be taken apart and put back together again. What do you mean by rebuild? When my DMF went out (the internal clutch was slipping), I decided to take it apart and investigate. Somewhere I found instructions on how to take a DMF and rebuild it as a SMF by bolting the two parts together. Using that info, I took it apart, epoxied the internal clutch together and reassembled. Its been working fine for 13 months.
However, you won't be able to find parts anywhere. Chances are your springs are worn out, and there is a good chance that some of the plastic spring retainers are busted. The springs might be found if you measure them and find a place that sells random springs. But the only source for the plastic retainers would be other DMF's.... I think there is a bearing in their someplace too... doubt thats something you'll be able to replace if needed.
Oh, and getting the springs back in a royal b*tch. If you go down this route, I can take pictures of the old DMF sitting in my garage. Oh, it weighs a fricking ton as well, almost killed myself trying to line it up and bolt it to the engine.
