I removed the abs sensor, and that shut off the abs light but the hard shifting in reverse and drive are still there(speedo still not working). Any ideas???Thanks, Mike
Did you remove the rear end sensor or unplug the RABS module?
If you unplugged the module and replaced the sensor in the rear end and checked the wiring under the truck and it and all the fuses are OK and still have the problem then the problem is in the rear end or a bad PSOM.
I just replaced the PSOM. I still have no speedo and very hard shifting. Will re-programing the PSOM that I just installed have any effect with the problems I am still having ?
So I finally got my speedo, abs, hard shifting, and, odometer problems all taken care of. After looking high and low, trying this and that. I took my 94 F150 to a guy who deals with electrical problems. It turned out to be the VSS and one of the wires was pinched. It cost me $ 250.00, but after all the hassle , the money I spent was well worth it. Thanks to everyone who helped lead me in the right direction. I would like to give a great big THANKS to Bill (Subford). I appreciate that you put up with all the questions!!
