So I changed the batteries, no go. Checked the fuel shutoff, and all fuses, still not turning over. I shorted the starter and it would turn over but wont start. So maybe a bad Solenoid, but why wont it start?
Mark and everyone else thanks for your help! I went back through the fuses and the 20amp engine control fuse was blown! Changed it out and presto wamo it started! Sorry for the wild goose chase!

At least we try, and through the Internet it hard to see what is wrong, glad you found the problem. Welcome to FTE.... Take cheezit's advice and check the wires, as you can see from his signature, he has to work on these trucks everyday.
found the fan clutch wiring and didnt see any bare spots so I retaped them and plugged them back up. It blew two fuses back to back, so I yanked on some wires and it got me to work. Could it be something in the ignition wiring?
Its 22 inside the cab. book says engine control. The wires wereto the left of the engine (facing the truck). It cut off during left hand turns both times. I had it tuned and egr Delete in january but havent had any trouble till now.
ok lets start this again.
the left side of the truck is the drivers side. the passanger side is the is the right side. ALWAYS.
so now what side? I think you are refering to the passsanger side of the truck. what was next to the harnees you were pulling on? there is a knowen chafe at the glowplug controller.
once again you need to look at the wiring at the fan cluth hub. this is the most common.
next try to move the gear shifter (assuming its an auto) up and down a few time and see if this makes the fuse blow.
