I've scanned a Honda CRV with CEL on, a GM blazer equivalent with CEL on and a chevy 1500 truck with CEL on. AE finally connected with all vehicles but no codes from any of them. Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions?
I do have only the ford bundle but shouldn't it at least read basic codes?
CRV - no idea. Could be maintenance interval
Blazer - known fuel pump bad
truck - couldn't connect. Called support and finally determined ECM. Reseated ECM plugs and it's still running with CEL on. AE connected once ECM plugs were reseated.
Same situation i am in, have the ford, a yota, and a honda, each needs the right bundle. AE isn't just a generic ODBII typ reader, need the other bundles.

Without the appropriate bundles (Honda or GM), AE only functions on those vehicles as a very basic OBDII scanner, typically only monitoring some (not all) emissions related parameters.
Since it's not picking up the codes, they may be related to manufacture specific equipment, and thus manufacture specific codes.
