My wish list of mods is growing for my new toy and suspension is at the top of my list.....after A/C actually (to keep the wife off my back). I've done the search on suspension and never really found a good explination of the "V and B" codes. I assume it refers to a VIN number from another year or model but I'm not sure.
What I would like to do is get a couple of inches of lift and fit the largest BFG AT's my stock rims will allow without causing issues. From what I can find the stock rims are only 7" wide so I know that limits my choices.
Any suggetions on lift and tire set up would be a real help.
Unless otherwise noted, spring codes talked about here (as a rule of thumb only), are Ford's in-house designation for the springs. VIN's do not reflect the spring codes on the vehicle. Spring code information for a specific vehicle can be found on the drivers side door tag.
