My truck is coming back to me this weekend from the paintshop. My truck is '69 F250 Camper special, Ranger that seems to have every possible molding/trim piece.
During the past couple of weeks i spent my time polishing all of the trim pieces. The problem is my body guy removed them and now i have the task of replacing them. It probably would have been a good idea to see how they came off but i was not around. i ordered clips from LMC truck (i kind of overlooked this expense.). My question is on the riveted plastic clips.
Is there room for allignment error? What i mean is, when i rivet it on, can i still rotate it to the correct position?
Next question:
Tailgate trim, is there certain sequence to replacing all of the pieces?
Do both of the windshield/rear window chrome pieces have to be installed with the windows?

I see lots of posts on removing trim, but it would be nice to see a detailed replacement sequence on this process.
I would do it if i felt as though i knew what i was doing. (but i think i'll attempt it).
