pyro sensor location + /- degrees

looking to install a new pyro gauge and was wondering where everyone thinks the best spot is for it to be taped in the exhaust man 7.3 idi non turbo lets hear it whats the safe temps when towing or rolling coal with a load on. long term high temp no no's

Exhaust manifold is the best place, I did mine at the back of the drivers side manifold.

1200 for a short burst, 1100 or so for a long pull.

Pistons start to melt at 1250, so if it gets that high, you don't want to stay there very long.

thanks just what i was lookin for i will try to keep her under 1100 im going to have a guy look at the timing tell me were its at and see where i can go with it but im going to do the pyro first
