well its hard to explain but the vacume lines that run all the way from the acuator by the batery to the front diff. or just start at the front diff and go up. some where around the frame there was a plastic peice that held the lines to the frame and thats what im looking for. it was like a junction box for the vacume lines or somthing. any help you can offer will be gratefull

Requested diagrams...

I had the same problem. In the end, just use a good quality vacum hose and "re plumb" all the piping, get rid of that cheap, hard plastic line that was used when it was built.

I will try to post the diagrams I used when I did this same job.

Vacuum Disconnect System - 4X4, album

I just put those diagrams up as an Album. You can view them by searching my photo album titled, "Vacuum Disconnect System - 4X4".

Good luck!

Replace the cracked plastic pipes with rubber vaccum hose

Yes, that is how I did it. I bought a package of vacum hose "T" and elbow fittings and some new vacuum hose and just replaced everything. You may need to use some of the existing ends of your current plastic pipes, but if you do just stick those pipes inside a snug fitting rubber vacuum hose, and for good measure wrap that up with electrical tape to ensure you have no leaks. You will be back in and out of 4WD in no time.
