changing over to power steering
need some help. I have a 1970 ford f100,3 speed on the column 360 cu in. I also have a 1970 f250 auto. donor truck with a 390. Will the steering box from the donor fit the f100 truck?? It appears the steering box is longer from the donor truck and will not mate up with the coupler on the f100 because of length. Do i need a manual transmission donor with power steering to do this? The steering column on the f100 is longer that the automatic f250.
