quick exhaust bolt help PLEASE!!!!
quick exhaust bolt help PLEASE!!!!
Just have a few questions.
Does a/c have to be removed to access manifolds? If you remember what other parts had to be removed a list would be great.
Anyone who has done this what is the exact size bolts they replaced them with?
What tool worked the best for removing broken studs, easy out, lefthand bit or stud puller. Does a stud puller thread them out or pull them and destroy the threads.
Thank You

You don't have to remove the A/C to when replacing the exhaust manifolds.
There are several threads just within the last few pages that cover the "stud" problem. I would recommend spending some time reading through them. Many have used different "types/grades" of bolts to replace the studs. In addition many have found different successful ways of removing the studs.
Typically the only things needed to be removed are the wheel liners, shocks, shock mounts. That will give you plenty of access to the manifolds.
