a/c problem.help?
i have a 2000 f250 7.3l. my air conditioning is stuck on defrost. even if i put it to hot and try to have it flow through the vents its still stuck coming out of the defrost holes.any ideas? im assuming its just stuck but any ideas on how to fix this? thanks in advance

That is a classic symptom of a vacuum leak. First check to make sure your vacuum pump is running, if so then you have a leak somewhere. If not then you have a bad pump or an electrical problem somewhere.
Edit:
If the vacuum pump is working right (runs for a bit then shuts off) you might have a bad selector switch...
Check to see if the pump is running first then get back to us.
