AC Help... Making a funny noise
I have a 1999 SD F350 4x4 Cew Cab - 98K Miles on the v10. I have noticed over the last month or so that my AC has been making a funny noise when the compressor kicks on. It's getting progressively worse. When ever the compressor clicks on there is a sound like a blow off valve for a turbo. The AC still works, but the noise is really annoying and the compressor is kicking on every 40 - 60 seconds making this noise.
It's like a loud pop and then a shreek, only last a fraction of a second. It's distinctly different from the standard compressor "click".
Any ideas?
