I have a 1987 Ford Ranger XLT 2wd with 2.9 Lt truck I am needing help with a brake light issue. They don't work. If I hold the brake pedal down and jiggle the turn signal they come on sometimes, and if I keep holding brake pedal down the lights go off. I have checked the bulbs, the wires and the sockets and all looks okay. All my other lights and signals are working just fine. So now what? Can someone please help me out?
Did you get a new headlight switch? Things working?
Well...I discovered something about my own turn signal and brake light issues, which I thought was fixed. It's the opposite of your problem: when my headlights are on, the rear left turn signal and brake lights don't work. Everything works with lights off. I thought I had fixed my problem
If not the grounds, not the sockets, not the TSS, could the issue be the headlight switch?
I'm having the exact same problem. Headlifts off...both sides turn signals and hazards work. Headlights on...right side turn signal does not work, but flashers do. WTH?
