I've seen many many hundreds (if not thousands) of motors that this sort of thing has ruined.
Typically from unresolved electrical/coolant/fuel issues causing short initial runs and restarts.
The issue is that it wipes/washes off the EP before parts have taken set to each other, now no EP to prevent excessive material transfer during this mating process!
Thus galling and excessive wear.
All I'm saying is that is not a good thing to do, you can do as you like, it is your motor!
