I had a Walker BTM. While it had some rumble to it, it had no drone at highway speeds. I now have the MBRP 4", and it's way louder with a bit of a drone at speed, but not at all objectionable to me.
Yes, the 4" MBRP installed in the louder position.(Open louvers towards the exit). Darn near sounds like a straight pipe to me, but I like the sound. You can hear the turbine whistle, even at idle.
I have the MBRP and don't think it's bad... my Turbo/intake is louder than the exhaust. I still have the muffler in it, lots of guys seem to like the muffler delete.
