yet another mpg towing question

Are you sure it's the muffler?

I replaced my 6637 with a Ford AIS because of the noise, and I have a 5" straight pipe. It's much better now.

Yes, the 4" MBRP installed in the louder position.(Open louvers towards the exit). Darn near sounds like a straight pipe to me, but I like the sound. You can hear the turbine whistle, even at idle.

I have the MBRP and don't think it's bad... my Turbo/intake is louder than the exhaust. I still have the muffler in it, lots of guys seem to like the muffler delete.
