Morning all,we have had some rain the last couple days it is a nice break from the heat.I am building a wood fired cook stove in the reno house,it is a nice challenge one off custom job that a guy doesn't get to do everyday.Too bad it doesn't pay
Ya it was good Joe. Took a long trip to Canmore AB for our oldest daughters wedding. The week after we were camping at a place on Highway 24.
We got home and something didn't feel right with my truck, didn't sound very good either. Turns out I had a siezed caliper on the rear. It was pretty bad. The day before I fixed it it actually spit out what was left of the inside pad. One of the pistons in the caliper was actually in pieces. When I put the pads in the other side I discoverd it was siezed too. I thought I could take it apart and lube it up but no such luck.
Long story short it too two calipers a rotor and a set of pads to the tune of $350.00.
I pulled some pretty big hills on the trips and I can say for sure that my truck sure can pull.
Sister in law came over, brought donuts from Tim's.
Went and visited my wife's grandma in the hospital, she broke her hip a couple weeks ago.
Visited my mom afterwards, she's babysitting her other granddaughter.
