well i bought my 1986 ford f250 for 200$ and rebuilt the engine, now it runs really good except the transmission. i just rebuilt the transmission and can't figure how my kickdown valve hooks to the transmission. i have a c6 transmission, not sure about engine size since person i bought from tried to customize the truck. so any ideas? should i rotate clockwise or counter?
You rebuilt the engine and don't know what size it is? The other person you bought the truck from rebuilt it correct? I know there is a sensible answer but I had to ask.

the person i bought from tried rebuilding and replaced with custom parts, so i didn't need new parts since he had everything i needed to rebuild just no time. the transmission is the real part i did all myself
if i rember corectley that should have a cable and should pull forward to the motor.
if it has a linkage arm with a U shaped arm on the trans it also go's to the front eather way counter clock wise
thanks ill try it out, well it worked! problem tho, i recently replaced the whole dash board and now my turn signals are backwards. any ides how far back this is?
did you install the turn signal switch on the steering wheel? if so did you put this on upside down causing the problem, flip that around see if it fixes your issue.

I don't know how that could happen unless you spliced some wiring.
i didn't cut any wiring, i did take off the whole gauge window, could i have put that in backwards? or put lights in wrong? where is this turn signal switch?
The switch is in the column. I still can't think how this would have gotten backwards, unless someone else has been splicing wires. The bulbs are set in the cluster with the circuit board. All the plugs have alignment keys so they can't be turned around.
