Happy Tuesday everyone. Just checking in to say hello since it's been a long time.
It's now been almost a month and a half since my daughter's surgery, and her recovery is great! With a little luck, she'll only wear the helmet for 3 more weeks.
My wife started back to work this past Friday. She was not at all happy about it, but in the grand scheme I think it was the way to best take care of things around here. I'm supposed to be back full-time around October 1, so keep your fingers crossed. I'm not cut out to be Mr. Mom.
Once I get back to work and can balance the household budget, it'll be time to buy something new-to-me to drive. The Hyundai Santa Fe is nice and paid for, but it's just not something I really like. Hopefully I can find a decent crew cab pickup for about 10k.
