Well, keep your fingers crossed for my dog Max. He spent last night at the emergency vet after having another seizure and suffering from syncopal (fainting) events. Took him to the regular vet this morning, and his prognosis isn't good. He'll have a cat scan on his heart Monday. If there's damage or a tumor, I hate to think of the decision we'll have to make. We're hoping we can put him on meds and have him around another year or three.
On a brighter note, my daughter got a great review from the neurosurgeon this week. Hopefully she'll outgrow the helmet in about a month so we can enjoy our little girl!

Enjoy your weekends. Be safe out there.
Rob,
I also hope you can put your dog on meds to keep him. Putting Kermit down was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. On the up side Tommy is such a wonderful dog. He is such a big love. We were fortunate to find him.

I miss not being able to be apart of the G2Gs. Nevada doesn't do much. They barely post on their board. I will never forget the fun we had with you guys @ Lynx Lake a few years ago. I haven't seen Travis on the board. Does anyone know how he is & what he is doing?
Hope everyone has had a nice summer. We got a taste of Fall the last few days it was like 66 degrees today for a high & in the high 40s for the low. I'm looking forward to cooler temps. One thing is being home the winters here are much nicer than most of Northern Nevada. We are much dryer & warmer than even Fallon that is only 75 miles away. To our west we have a mountain range that is over 13,000 ft & it blocks many of the storms the rest of Northern Nevada gets. I look out my kitchen window & the mountain range is right in front of me.

No more Cris, she went by by. not sure who else is gone.

Thanks Bill,
Yea Cris did she just quit posting or did she move? Anyway Happy Monday Bill & Everybody.
Tonight we lost Max. Long story short he died of massive heart failure. No surgery could have fixed him; two of the major valves were damaged beyond repair. My wife took him home with the same meds that made him well last night, but ... it was not meant to last. At least he made it home one last time. I'll have to get over my feelings of abandonment. I had to leave the house at 4:45am, and the last I saw him was when I left the vet's office Saturday morning.
So here's to Max. You will be missed tremendously!
