Block heater??
I was told by my neighbor that I should have a block heater installed on my 2005 f350 PSD...Problem is I can't find it... Did all diesels come with block heaters or were they an option... Thank you

the element is there its above the starter. not all came with a cord.
if it's not cold were you live or were you travle its not really needed.
best is to have 2 good batteries.
I find I haveno issues stating in 10* weather. if I cycle the key 2 times waiting about a min between cycles.

if you deside to put on the cord for the heater... go to your local international dealer, or ebay... the cord is $14 there instead of $75 at ford... and the only difference in the two is the wire loom on the ford part... i live in st louis, and i only plug mine in maybee a few weeks ayear...
