1997 f150 v6
hi, my uncle has a 1997 f150 4.2l v6 with around 55k miles, 4x4 5spd, horrible gas milage. around 10-11 mpg. but the reason why is the front passenger side and rear drivers side brakes are "dragging" what would cause this? put in new pads, used a ton of cleaner to clean them. we cannot figure out what it is.

Might be the brake hoses are swollen/collapsing internally. They will allow brake fluid under pedal pressure to apply the brakes but will not allow the fluid to return to master cylinder freely.
