Does anyone know?

Why my a/c would blow cold for about 10 minutes, and then blow outside (warm) air for about 2 minutes, back to cold 8 minutes, warm for 3, and so on. I filled it with freon and that just made it colder when it blows cold, but still goes to warm. Clogged orifice tube posible? I don't know. It's hot in south Florida. Thanks. Kelly

check to make sure you don't have a problem with a vacuum line or your pump. also check to see if the electrical connections to your compressor are tight and making good contact.

Do you have dial controls or the electronic buttons(EATC)?

maybe a vacuum hose , I've heard that they operate most of the doors in the climate control.

I have dial controls, looking through the internet made me think that maybe my cooling fan relay was going bad, BUT, when I recently did my EGR delete/oil cooler/coolant filter, I remember wondering why my vacuum pump kept running. The only way I could stop it was to put my finger over the white tube facing the front of the truck. I checked my friends truck and his white tube did not have a hose on it either, but his pump would stop running. You both may be right on the money, time for a new vacuum pump.. More money. Thanks gentlemen.

You may very well have a bad vacuum pump. What you describe tends to indicate that.

However, the blend door that controls temperature is not controlled by vacuum. It is electric.

Well.....maybe it's the cooling fan. But after reading about the vacuum pump I may have figured out why the 4x4 light goes on but it doesn't seem to go into 4 wheel drive. Can anyone beat $92 or is that about right?

Disconnect the output of the vacum pump and cap it off. Does it still cycle? If not you have a vacum leak sonewhere in the system.
