Where Does The Heat Shield Go?
I have a '05, F250, V10, CC, short bed; while working on a tire rotations I noticed a sheet of heat shield material laying on top of the exhaust pipe above the rear axle. I can't figure out where it came from. The size is about 12"x18", foil with a fiberglass mat backing. The sheet is exactly the right length to span the bed support brackets space but I could not find any indication of how it was fastened or where. Since the exhaust pipe bends up over the axle tube at this point, I think it is ment to shield the underside of the bed.
Can anyone take a look at their truck and see if they have the same configuration and tell me how it attached.

A little Dab did it!!
Thanks guys; I love the FTE, always get a good answer.
I stuck it back over the pipe with a few dabs of RTV and duck tape to hold until set.
